“In Jan 2023 our son was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and occasionally in flare every 6 weeks..but despite various medications he ended up getting worse and finally getting into severe flare in October 2023. For the whole of October 2023 he was having 18+ bloody bowel movements daily - day and night. Many nights we would just lie awake waiting to go with him to the loo - most nights every 45mins. “I have been battling the effects of unbalanced hormones for over 9 years. This included heavy, uncontrolled bleeding, which has landed me in the hospital multiple times over the years, and I've been put on a few different hormonal therapy treatments.
